First Aid at work (FAW) 3 Days – £210 per person
This course is ideal for companies that have identified that their work place is considered to be a higher risk environment. This type of work place involves advanced hazards such as working at height, working with chemicals, dangerous machinery and heavy plant construction. This 3 day course covers a broad first aid syllabus and gives both companies and employees the confidence that they are properly trained to deal with a first aid emergency in the workplace. If you are unsure about the level of hazard in your work place, please contact us and we can help you find the correct training for you.
Whilst including all of the core first aid skills that are incorporated into the EFAW course, the FAW course offers important elements of emergency care that are not covered in the 1 day course such as; heart attack, stroke, epilepsy, diabetes, asthma & fractures. Due to recent changes in HSE regulations, it is now the responsibility of the employer to choose an appropriate first aid training provider and the necessary level of training required in accordance with their needs assessment.
